Bobbi Kristina Brown Condition Worsens, Transferred to Hospice Care

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition continued to worsen in spite of receiving the best medical care in several hospitals, prompting the family to transfer her in hospice care. This was announced by Pat Brown, Bobbi’s aunt.

Someone close to the family said that Bobby Kristina, her father, has decided to stop all medications and to remove everything that were attached to his daughter. The source added that Kristina may be declared dead in the next hours.

Last January 31, Bobby Kristina was found in her bathtub in her Atlanta home. She was found facing down and was already unconscious. Her case is similar to that of her mother, Whitney Houston, who was found dead in her bathtub in 2012 with traces of cocaine found in her system.

Reports said that Kristina had an argument with Nick Gordon, her partner, on the same day she was found unreceptive in her bathtub.

She had tracheostomy in February to help her breathe. The family had entrusted Brown ’s condition to God and had expressed their gratitude to everyone who offered prayers and support.

“Brown is in a vegetative condition,” the source close to her family declared last week.

In response to media reports about her condition, legal counsel Christopher Brown said that Kristina will go home alive, contrary to what is being reported in several news agencies and websites.

The 22-year old Bobbi Kristina is the daughter of singer Bobby Brown and R&B icon Whitney Houston. She rose to fame in the “Being Bobby Brown,” a reality show in 2005. In 2009, Kristina sang with her mother on the show “Good Morning America”. A few weeks after her mother died, she had an emotional interview Oprah Winfrey.

She told Oprah that she can hear her mother telling her to be strong. “She’s always with me,” Bobbi said.

Although there were no confirmation that drug abuse was the cause of Bobbi’s breakdown and hospitalization, talks about her supposed drug addiction were frequently discussed.

Cissy Houston, her grandmother, has admitted in 2013 that she is worried about Bobbi Kristina. She stated further that she does not want to imply that her granddaughter will follow her mother’s footsteps. She only want to be assured that Bobbi Kristina will not commit the same death.

Cissy Houston added that the doctors gave a bad prognosis on Kristina’s condition last April. They were told that she has irreversible and global brain damage.

Gordon, her partner, is facing a $10 million lawsuit in spite of her worsening condition. The lawsuit was filed in Georgia by Bobbi Katrina’s court-appointed conservator for allegedly abusing her physically and stealing money from her bank account. Gordon’s attorney Randall Kessler has not given any statement about the lawsuit.
