While we expect a redesigned iPhone by the end of 2015, leaked photos of the iPhone 6S are seen online.

The iPhone 6S is touted as the most awaited product from Apple. The leaked images show a narrow motherboard with a restructured wireless system with a Qualcomm MDM9635M LTE modem, also known as 9X35 Gobi mobile platform. It offers more potent power usage that could lead to longer battery life. It also doubles the wireless download speed of the iPhone effectively.

Introduced in the latter part of 2013, the Qualcomm MDM9635M LTE modem was featured on the Samsung Galaxy S5. It offers a download speed of up to 300 mbps that enhanced 4G speeds because of the Category 5 LTE. Most iPhones have a 150 mbps download speed, but with the Cat 6 LTE the speed has improved tremendously although network congestion and carrier speeds are factors that can affect the download speed. The uplink was limited at 50 mbps.

The Qualcomm MDM9635M LTE modem also offers enhanced power. It was manufactured using a 28 nm, making the chip more reliable and energy efficient. When in use, the chip produces less heat.

The Cat 6 LTE offers more storage space. The iPhone 6S has a slimmer and more compact design compared to the present designs of Smartphones. As it is narrower, users can expect a smaller storage space as most of it is allocated to a bigger battery. This will not happen with iPhone 6S, though. It can even be unsurpassed by being the most battery-friendly iPhone. This is all because of the power efficiency of Qualcomm 9X35 and the power saving feature of iOS9.

Taking a hint from the leaked photos of iPhone 6S, where every part of the Smartphone is shown – from style, outside and inside – there seems to be nothing spectacular except the Cat 6 LTE modem. The absence of a dual lens camera is very noticeable.

Those who are keen on having the iPhone 6S may be hoping that Apple will incorporate a more competent 4K capable rear-facing camera in addition to the upgraded interior.

The leaked images also show that the SIM card slot, sleep/wake buttons and the volume buttons are located in the same areas. The logic board has new mounting points, though.

Hopefully, Apple will be able to make the iPhone 6S more enticing and new before it is launched in September.
